John Kim / Partner
John Kim is the partner in charge of the firm’s Business Transactions and Real Estate groups. He is one of the founding partners of the firm. Prior to forming the firm, John was an attorney practicing at several highly regarded regional law firms in Southern California and at the Los Angeles office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLP. John received his J.D. in 2001 from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Law.
Alex Chang / Partner
Alex Chang is a founding partner of Verve Law Group and heads the firm’s litigation department. His diverse practice touches on an array of industries and practice areas, including business disputes involving breach of contract, business interference claims, fraud, intellectual property, including without limitation copyright and trademark infringement, civil embezzlement, defamation, real property and commercial landlord-tenant contracts and relationships. Alex received his J.D. in 2006 at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
Jeffrey T. Gwynn / Partner
Jeff Gwynn has over 20 years of legal experience having worked at both large and specialized firms. This varied experience has given him a comprehensive breadth of knowledge in commercial, business and real estate matters. Jeff has substantial experience in bankruptcy, construction and employment law. Previously, he was part owner in a construction company and has in-depth knowledge of the complex legal and employment issues involved in such operations. Jeff received his J.D, in 1996 from Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to the bar in California and Texas.
Sara Wang / Of Counsel
Sara Wang is Of Counsel in Verve Law Group’s Litigation Group. Ms. Wang has successfully prosecuted and defended litigation matters both large and small primarily involving business disputes, fraud, intellectual property and employment law. Sara received her J.D. in 2006 from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
Nada Lahoud / Of Counsel
Nada V. Lahoud is Of Counsel in Verve Law Group’s Real Estate Group. Nada has a wide range of real estate experience including representation of major real estate developers and foreign investors. She received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2003.
Teresa Gwynn
Teresa graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1988. She graduated from Boston University School of Law in May 1994. She was admitted to the California State Bar and to the Central District of the United States District Court in June 1995.
